European Green Deal - a framework of regulation and legislation to achieve the EU’s targets of net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, and a 50%-55% cut in emissions from 1990 levels by 2030 has been baking for quite some time. For sure, it has been considered before the COVID 19 pandemic. However, the discussion has attracted new momentum as the public sector around the globe are looking to propose economic stimulus that does not thwart climate effort.
